Storyclub was invented by Lesley Moss (AKA Mrs Howlett!) in Summer 2006, as a pilot Arts Project.
A year later, with a core group of enthusiastic members, it's still going strong!
Storyclub is for people who enjoy making up stories, writing and drawing: working in groups and on solo projects. We engage in a range of activities designed to evoke imagination, humour and drama, such as picking character names out of a hat, filling up idea boxes, and becoming involved in drama games and mask work. And don't forget the infamous Storyclub parties!
We produce a Storyclub Magazine and most of our writing is ‘flash fiction’ i.e. very short pieces! But recently we embarked on longer individual stories for the Mysterious Key Assignment.

Our latest exciting project is our online magazine - created with the help of Andy Starke - and available to read in cyberspace... right here!
